Mike spent has spent almost all of his life living in the district of Blaby.

Today, he is a Solution Architect with over 30 years experience in the Retail Industry. He has successfully completed numerous long term projects for some of the largest retailers in the UK, USA and China.

In 2012 he was invited to lead a project in Shanghai. On arrival in China he questioned his local contacts about the smog - they responded “this is because we now make the stuff you used to”.

That visit inspired him to learn more about the Climate Emergency, and in recent years to become politically active and use his experience to challenge perceptions as to what can be changed and how quickly. He now speaks at a national level on the subject.
