Kirby Muxloe

I was born in Leicester and have lived in Kirby Muxloe for 24 years, establishing a local private physiotherapy clinic in 2001. I have been a local community campaigner and Green Party member since 2019. I have served on the Kirby Muxloe Parish Council and am now a Trustee of the Kirby Muxloe Library and Community Hub and a local Tree Warden. I am the Coordinator of Blaby Green Party. I believe that local communities can play a massive role in establishing security and resilience in the face of future climate-related adversity.

I have lived in Narborough most of my adult life, brought up 2 children and now have 2 grandchildren who live in Littlethorpe. I joined the Green Party because I fully endorse their policies to tackle the climate crisis and social injustice. I firmly believe that, if nothing else, we can try to make our little corner of the world a better place and that is what I will be working hard to do.

Cosby & South Whetstone

I spent the first 25 years of my life living in Cosby and the last 25 living in South Whetstone.

We need proper scrutiny of the proposed new housing and industrial developments planned within the area. Developments need to be sustainable and to support active travel.

Enderby

“I am Leicester born and bred and my son was actually born in Enderby. Both of my children have studied at Brockington Community College. I have lived in the area for the last 4 years and absolutely love walking/cycling in the local countryside .”

“I have been a lifelong supporter of environmental and social issues. I want to help change this broken society for the better so I joined the Green Party because I completely agree with their social justice and climate emergency policies. I’m tired of the political circus at all levels of government so I really appreciate the maturity and dignity that the Green Party brings to politics. The amazing local work of Green Party councillors across the country is very inspiring and is why I am standing for election.”
