County Council Elections – May 2025
This May, we’re proud to be standing Green Party candidates in every division across Blaby District for the Leicestershire County Council elections. Wherever you live, you’ll have the chance to vote Green and support our vision for a fairer, greener Leicestershire.
We’re putting particular focus on two divisions where we have strong local teams and real opportunities to win:
- Glenfields, Kirby Muxloe and Leicester Forests – Candidates, Tony Deakin & Nick Cox
- Narborough and Whetstone – Candidate Mike Jelfs
In these areas, we’re running well-supported campaigns, speaking to residents, and offering experienced local candidates who are ready to make a difference on day one. But no matter where you are in Blaby District, a Green vote sends a powerful message that you want real action on climate, clean air, better public transport, and honest, transparent politics.
